The case eventually made its way to the Michigan Supreme Court. On July 31, in a 4-3 ruling,the highest court in the state ordered that both ballot initiatives be reinstated as originally adopted.
The adopt and amend strategy “violated the people’s constitutionally guaranteed right to propose and enact laws through the initiative process,” Justice Elizabeth Welch wrote in the majority opinion

Martin Shkreli ordered to give up all copies of one-of-a-kind Wu-Tang Clan album

Martin Shkreli, the infamous “pharma bro” once convicted of securities fraud, must turn over to his attorneys all copies of what was supposed to be a multi-million-dollar, one-of-a-kind Wu-Tang Clan album and is barred from selling or distributing the album, a federal judge ruled.
“Once Upon a Time in Shaolin” was created by Wu-Tang in secret over the course of six years, with the group intending for only a single two-CD copy to ever exist and with no accompanying digital or streaming release. In 2015, Shkreli paid a reported $2 million for the album, which included a hand-carved nickel-silver box, along with a leather-bound manuscript containing lyrics and a certificate of authenticity.

Meijer out $800K after organized retail crime scheme

According to court records, in early 2022, Meijer discovered a loss of $805,000 due to counterfeit coupon barcodes.
While investigators say the scheme dates back to at least 2018, Meijer lost $134,000 in Michigan in less than two months in early 2022 alone, according to court records.
